We have used Tamil Unicode fonts with Dynamic web Font Technology. So if you have windows 2000/XP, you can view the tamil fonts without installing any fonts. (If any one still have problem try this:
Click Start --> control panel --> Regional Language Options --> Languages --> Click the check box against "Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai). Restart the Computer.)
Others download the fonts and copy to the font directory (eg: c:/windows/fonts).
Win 98 and Win Me users may have some problem with the fonts. In that case please download the new updated usp10.dll (hidden file) and copy it in to the folder C:\windows\system\.
Click Here to download new updated usp10.dll
In some cases (as in windows 98/98 second edition etc) the file menu of c:\windows\fonts\ folder will not show the Install New fonts option. In these conditions the browser will not show the fonts although the font is copied to C:\windows\fonts\ folder. In these cases the following change has to be made in the regedit file. Care should be taken while editing the regedit file. Click start --> Run and type regedit in the space and click ok. The registry editor will open. In this navigate the following folder. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Fonts. Here you will see list fonts. You Right Click on Right Pane and open new string value. Type the value name as TSCuthamba (TrueType) and value data as TSCuthamba.ttf
Close the Registry editor and Restart. Check the font by opening Notepad. Change Encoding to Unicode. (Always first check this feature if the font is not shown properly).
If you could not able to solve the font problem please feel free to contact us.
Wish you a Happy Browsing.
